PCMC introduces Cycle2Work initiative on every Thursday, starts from March 7
PCMC 's Cycle2Work initiative begins from today, to be held every Thursday
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is going to start the ‘Cycle 2 Work’ Initiative on all Thursdays from tomorrow i.e. 7th March 2024.
As per further information from the X handle of PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh “As part of our commitment to sustainability, ecology, and promoting a healthier lifestyle, PCMC is launching its Cycle2Work Thursday initiative. Starting March 7th, all PCMC employees will be encouraged to pedal their way to the office every Thursday. I too will be working towards doing the same every Thursday! Join us in embracing sustainability and leading by example. Let’s make our Thursday commutes greener and healthier!”
The X handle of Shekhar Singh further says “Join PCMC’s Cycle to Work initiative! Every Thursday, pedal your way to the office for a greener, healthier commute. Let’s reduce emissions and promote fitness together. Embrace Sustainability and Lead by Example”.
Date of the initiative: Every Thursday starting from March 7, 2024.
Time to reach PCMC Building: 9:45 AM.
Location for Gathering: PCMC Building
Note: Participants gather at PCMC Building entrance for group photos with cycles at specified time.
