PMC announces special vaccination drive for students studying abroad
Pune Municipal Corporation on May 29, 2021 announced that to facilitate the process of admission in foreign universities. The civic body took the decision the facilitate the process of applying to foreign universities for students from Pune.
The Vaccination facility has been set up at the Kamla Nehru hospital in Mangalwar Peth, where the students can walk-in without registration. Vaccination facility shall remain open on Tuesday and Wednesday between 10 am to 5 pm.
Students should carry all necessary documents while walking in the center for vaccination. If the number of students increases, PMC shall extend the drive for the whole week.
Murlidhar Mohol Mayor of Pune Municipal Corporation said,
“Since there are a lot of students who want to pursue in foreign countries but we’re stuck due to no access to Vaccination. This facility shall expedite their process now. And also keep them safe from Covid19. Students are requested that they should maintain social distancing.”
