PMC demolishes rooftop restaurants in Kondhwa
Pune Municipal Corporation’s anti encroachment cell and building construction department took action against the rooftop restaurants in Kondhwa and Bibvewadi on November 2. The action was initiated after a restaurant on rooftop of a commercial building caught fire on November 1 morning in Lulla Nagar.
The action was taken against Mughal Sarai located on the rooftop of Bramha Estate commercial complex, Silver Spoon restaurant on the rooftop of The Capital Mall in Kondhwa under the guidance of Prashant Waghmare, City Engineer, Pune Municipal Corporation.
The action was carried out by executive engineer Sudhir Kadam, Yuvraj Deshmukh, Ramesh Kakade, Chandrasen Nagtilak, Shramik Shevate, Umesh Shidruk and Vishal Patil. Encroachment of over 6000 square feet was demolished.
