PMC files complaint against developers of 11 illegal constructions in Ambegaon Budruk
Taking severe action against the developers of 11 illegal structures in Ambegaon Budruk, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has filed a complaint with the Bharati Vidyapeeth Police requesting the police to file an FIR.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vinayak Gaikwad, Police Inspector, at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station said, “The PMC had razed 11 illegal buildings in Ambegaon Budruk. Notices were issued to the concerned developers. Recently, the PMC has given a complaint letter to us, requesting to find out about the whereabouts of the developers and file an FIR against them.”
Gaikwad further said that after the PMC issued notices to the concerned developers, no one showed up to accept the notice. Currently, information about the developers is being taken as these razed buildings were in the name of various firms. However, the owners of those firms are not known yet. Also, detailed information about the developers & the entire razing incident is being taken and in 2 to 3 days, an FIR will be filed.
Earlier in January 2024, action was taken against unauthorized constructions in survey no 43, survey no 25 and survey no 10 in Ambegaon Budruk:
A total area of about 47664 square feet was cleared.
