PMC inaugurates revised ‘PMC Care’ platform

Pune: Ravindra Binawade, Additional Commissioner, Pune Municipal Commissioner (PMC) and Dr Sanjay Kolte, CEO of Pune Smart City inaugurated the new and improved form of the ‘PMC Care’ platform on September 5.
Speaking on this occasion, PMC Additional Commissioner Ravindra Binawade said, “PMC Care, a new form of Pune Municipal Corporation, is a platform through which the municipal administration can convey its right side to the citizens. This platform will definitely help to convey the facts of every incident to the public. Citizens can write blogs and articles through this platform. The services and facilities of the municipality will be easily accessible to the citizens. It is necessary to reach as many citizens as possible about this perfect platform. Now, instead of using 10 different apps, this single app will be useful for everyone.”
As per information, PMC Care Mobile Application and Portal Citizen Engagement Platform will be an important link to connect administration and citizens. The program was attended by Rahul Jagtap, Head of Information and Technology Department & IT Nodal Officers of various departments and employees.
Through this platform, complaints filing, online income tax payment, water bill payment, hawker payment, birth-death certificate, marriage registration, various certificates, NOC, park ticket, tender, as well as various licenses / permits will be available. Also, citizens will get information about blogs, articles, activities, projects, programs implemented by PMC and information about places around them with just one click from this platform.
Also, through the revised ‘PMC Care’ platform, for municipal employees and officers, government decisions, circulars, etc. are shared. Adequate action is taken on citizens’ complaints received, as well as a complaint dashboard is made available. In this way, citizens and Pune Municipal Corporation employees will now get all the facilities in one click.
‘PMC Care’ platform is useful for children, youth, housewives, job professionals, and senior citizens. All the information in various fields like education, entertainment, city updates, health, and food will be available to Pune residents on a single platform. This complete citizen engagement platform is now available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
The municipal administration is appealing to all citizens, municipal employees, and officials to register on this platform, which provides citizen-oriented services and is a link between citizens and administration.
