PMC sends notices to 1204 owners for abandoning vehicles
Under the Swachh Survekshan 2022, Pune Municipal Corporation had taken up the initiative of removing the abandoned vehicles from the city limits. Notices were issued to the vehicle owners to remove such vehicles occupying public spaces. A total of 1204 abandoned vehicles were served notices including two wheelers – 454, three wheelers – 258, four wheelers – 450 and heavy vehicles – 42.
The action is being carried out under the guidance of Madhav Jagtap, deputy commissioner, anti encroachment cell PMC, he said “Notices were served to the vehicle owners two wheelers – 122, three wheelers – 13, four wheelers – 20, a total of 155 vehicles have been seized by the PMC till January 13, 2022.”
