PMC to take stern action against encroachment on footpaths and side margins
Pune Municipal Corporation has directed the anti encroachment cell to take action against those encroaching on the footpaths, side and front margins of the building. The letter issued by the PMC deputy commissioner Madhav Jagtap, anti encroachment cell and building construction department will jointly take action against the encroachers and also seize their material.

The initiative will also be taken to relocate the licensed vendors in a designated place. PMC’s initiative aims at making footpaths and front and side margins of the buildings free from all sorts of encroachments. Action will also be taken against any mandaps, structures erected without permission.
