PMPML bus driver on duty caught watching movie on mobile
Pune : A viral video has surfaced on social media depicting a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) driver watching a film while driving the bus. This incident has caused an uproar on social media, with users demanding action against the driver.
The driver seen in the video is from Nigdi Depot, and the PMPML administration has taken note of the situation and assured that appropriate action will be taken against culprits.
One of the passengers commuting by the PMPML bus shot a video in which the driver was seen watching a movie on his mobile while driving a bus. Already PMPML passengers frequently complain about reckless driving by drivers, with a recent incident resulting in a female passenger suffering backbone injuries. The incident occurred in February, and the driver was subsequently booked for rash and negligent driving. Additionally, a video of a PMPML driver misbehaving with a woman went viral on social media.
PMPML officials said that, for any issues, customers can call the helpline (020-24545454) to report complaints or raise grievances.
There is a dedicated grievance cell for these calls, and the operator takes strict action against offenders while addressing the passengers’ concerns.
