PMPML to hold Bus Day on April 18

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) on April 19 is celebrating its 15th anniversary and to celebrate this occasion the public transport body has organised various initiatives for the commuters. The initiative are organised to spread awareness among people to use public transport and help reduce air and sound pollution.
PMPML has organised Bus Day on April 18 2022, where the public transport body has organised several initiatives for the commuters. 1800 Buses will ply on various routes on Bus Day on April 18.
On Bus Day, Volunteers and Pune Police on 5 routes (Kothrud depot to Deccan, Swargate to Vadgaon Dhayari Phata, Swargate to Shivaji Nagar (Bajirao Road / Shivaji Road), Jangli Maharaj road, Fergusson College road will spread awareness on using public transport on these dedicated routes.
On April 19, on the occassion of the foundation day celebrations the minimum ticket rate would be Rs 5 and maximum Rs 10.
On April 19, Punyadasham bus service will offer free service for all passengers for the entire day (No change in ticket rate for bus service outside Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad jurisdiction)
On April 20, women passengers can avail free service at Rs 10 on daily pass in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad jurisdiction (No discount on fare outside PMC and PCMC jurisdiction bus service)
Lucky Draw Participants to get attractive gifts :
Those travelling in PMPML bus on these days would be given a form to fill up. These participants will be presented attractive gifts. Coupons must be dropped at the designated box at bus depots.
