PMPML Unveils Weekend Electric Bus Service to Popular Temples and Tourist Spots

On October 19, 2024, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML) kicked off its new bus service for religious and tourism destinations from Swargate Bus Depot. The Chairperson and Managing Director of PMPML, Dipa Munde, along with other top officials, attended the launch.
This new air-conditioned electric bus service runs on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, offering trips to popular spots like the Khandoba Temple in Jejuri, the Ashtavinayak temples (Mayureshwar Morgaon, Chintamani Theur, Mahaganapati Ranjangaon), as well as Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad city, and nearby areas.
Some cool deals they’re offering are a 100% discount for 5 passengers when buying group tickets for 33, ticket booking available at different centers (Deccan Gymkhana, Pune Station, Swargate, Katraj, Hadapsar, Bhosari, Nigdi, Manpa Bhavan), guide service on each bus, and the option for passengers to reschedule if there’s low interest or a service cancellation.
