Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey took an open session to know the problems of the police in the police force. In this, the police presented various problems before Commissioner Choubey. The commissioner has given instructions to the concerned to take immediate action on it.
As per further information from Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey “Ahead of the upcoming hectic election schedule, I took an open session with my team yesterday, to understand their concerns and note down the suggestions in general. Will do my best to ensure the team is motivated to ensure good policing in the city.”
The Commissioner of Police communicates with the Head of Police Station and other senior officers through meetings. But communication with other officers and employees is not to that extent. Therefore, after a certain period of time, the Commissioner of Police organized a Darbar with the aim of communicating with everyone. This court was held at Nigdi. Around 300 police officers and enforcers were present on this occasion.
The present police presented all kinds of personal and office problems before the commissioner. Difficulties were raised regarding house rent, salary increase, promotion. As many wanted a transfer, they demanded it. However, as it is not possible to transfer all of them to the desired place at the same time, the police commissioner assured that aspirants should apply for it, accordingly, it will be considered in the regular transfers.
A senior police officer said that while working in the police force, many people experience mental stress due to the workload. If there are some personal and office problems in it, it increases the tension. Therefore, if the police present their problems to the seniors on time, the mental stress on them is reduced. This court was held for that purpose. The Commissioner of Police has given instructions to the concerned to take action regarding the problems of all.
