Pottery Workshop for Children and Adults Held In Nyati Exotica in Mohammadwadi - Pune Pulse
A Pottery Workshop was organised by Nyati Exotica CHS for Children and their Parents from society.
The workshop started at 11 am and was scheduled to complete by 1 pm. However, due to the overwhelming response of Children and parents alike, the timing of the workshop had to be extended by one hour. Finally the workshop got over at 2 pm.
This was the first ever chance for all the children and most parents to work with Potter’s Clay and create something wonderful like Diya, Mug, Earthen pot, etc using their own hands.
In this era where every child is busy with studies, mobile, etc, it was the first ever interaction for most children with the clay and also the first ever chance for them to muddy their hands.
Harshad Datar from Nyati Exotica told Pune Pulse that, “A total of 32 Children and 6 adults participated in the workshop. Our children were so enthusiastic that some of them waited for over an hour or so to get yet another chance to work on the potter’s wheel. This wish of all the waiting children was granted by giving them one more chance.to create something.”
