Pune: Melange Residences E Wing In Hinjawadi Phase 3 Embraces Renewable Energy Future With Rooftop Solar Power
On April 29, 2024, Melange Residences E Wing celebrated a milestone moment as they inaugurated their new solar power system. Melange Residences is located in Hinjawadi Phase 3, Maan. They have 110 flats and a total of Rs 10.5 lacs has been contributed towards this initiative.
The project, boasting an impressive 18kW capacity, was completed in a record timeline of just one month. Implemented as a grid-based model, the system will seamlessly transfer generated energy directly to the grid, marking a significant step towards sustainable energy practices.
Initial reports indicate a daily generation output of 90-95 kW, offering promising prospects for reducing the residence’s electricity bills, currently amounting to 45k per month to the MSEDCL.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed guests and residents, with Rajkumari Batheja and Manohar Batheja inaugurated the event. Secretary Anant Sinha, Treasurer Abhishek Singh, and committee members Rajiv Ranjan, Rahul Patel, Indrajit Roy, and Surya Sampemane were also present, demonstrating a collective commitment to sustainable living. Secretary Anant Sinha and Solar POC Rahul Patel emphasised the importance of solar energy adoption in their speeches, underscoring its environmental and economic benefits for the community.
A special walkthrough of the project by Jyoti Prakash from the Visol team provided attendees with valuable insights, enhancing their understanding of the initiative.
The event received widespread praise from residents, reflecting the community’s enthusiasm for embracing renewable energy solutions.
