Pradeep Kurulkar case : Custody of DRDO scientist extended till May 15

The custodial remand of Pradeep Kurulkar, the Defence Research and Development Organisation who was arrested in Pune last week on charges of wrongful communication with Pakistan based operatives in a suspected honeytrap case, has now been extended till May 15. The court of Additional Sessions Judge S R Navandar extended custody by seven days. The ATS officials informed the court that the forensic analysis report of the data retrieved from electronic devices seized from Kurulkar is being investigated further.

Kurulkar has been booked under provisions of the Official Secrets Act (OSA) pertaining to spying and wrongful communication.
