In a move to provide greater convenience to citizens, cash counters for tax collection will remain open even on holidays. This initiative has been taken by the local Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to ensure that citizens have the opportunity to pay their taxes without any inconvenience.

The cash counters will remain open for the next two days from 10 AM to 6 PM. This is a great opportunity for citizens who have been unable to pay their taxes to clear their arrears without incurring any further late fees.

In addition, the PCMC has announced that citizens who pay their tax arrears by March 31 will be exempt from any penalties related to illegal constructions. The waiver of this penalty is available only until March 31, so citizens are urged to take advantage of this opportunity and clear their arrears as soon as possible.

The PCMC has also made it easier for citizens to pay their taxes online. The official website www.pcmcindia.gov.in provides a platform for citizens to make their tax payments online. Citizens can also contact the helpline number 888 800 6666 or send an email to [email protected] for any assistance related to property tax.

This initiative by the PCMC is expected to be a great relief for citizens who have been struggling to pay their taxes due to various reasons. By keeping the cash counters open on holidays and providing online payment options, the PCMC has shown a commitment to make tax payments hassle-free for citizens.
