Pune: 12-Year-Old from Katraj Rescued Safely from Satara, After Being Held for Rs 70 Lakhs Ransom

In a concerning incident reported on Sunday evening, Rajesh Suresh Shelar allegedly abducted a 12-year-old from Bhilarewadi, Pune. The boy’s father, involved in property dealings, adds complexity to the case, prompting authorities to intensify their investigation into Shelar.

Following meticulous technical analysis of phone calls, law enforcement discovered the suspect had secluded the child in the hilly terrain of Patheghar, Satara district. With prompt action, Crime Branch Unit 2, aided by Satara police, swiftly located and rescued the boy, reuniting him with his family unharmed.

Despite the successful rescue operation, Shelar managed to evade capture, escaping the scene. Police are actively pursuing leads and employing concerted efforts to apprehend all involved parties.
