Pune : 2 booked for disrupting power supply purposely in Hinjawadi society
Two people have been booked by Hinjawadi Police for purposefully shutting off Blue Ridge Society, Phase One’s electricity supply in Hinjawadi. The incident took place on December 31, 2023, at night.
As per further information from the press release of Pimpri Chinchwad police, Blue Ridge Society resident Sandeep Santosh Borkar filed the complaint after reporting the incident to the Hinjawadi Police Station.
In Blue Ridge Society Phase 1, the accused, identified as Mahadev Jaychand Puri and Abhijit Kamble were involved in an electrical work in the society. But, on the evening of December 31, the accused allegedly broke into the community without permission and purposefully turned off the electricity of the entire society, causing the residents great inconvenience.
Hence, on 11th January, Sandeep Borker filed a case with the Hinjawadi Police Station. The 2 accused are booked under Sections 336, 447 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation by the Hinjawadi Police is going on.
