The admission process for government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state has begun. Students can submit online applications until June 30. There are 1,48,568 seats available in 1,026 ITIs. Recently, more meritorious students are opting for ITI admissions due to better employment opportunities after completing ITI education.

The Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) oversees the ITI diploma courses. Following the declaration of class 10th results, DVET director Digambar Dalvi announced the admission schedule for the academic year 2024-25. ITI courses are favored by students who choose not to pursue degree courses like 11th grade, engineering, or pharmacology after 10th grade.

Out of the total seats, 92,364 seats are in 418 government ITIs, while 56,204 seats are in 608 private ITIs. According to the DVET schedule, after filling out the online application form, students must verify their documents between June 5 and July 1 to confirm their admission application. Students need to fill in their preferred ITI options from June 5 to July 2.

The preliminary merit list will be released on July 4 at 11 a.m. Students can raise objections regarding this list on July 4 and 5. The final merit list will be published on July 7. The admission selection list will be released on July 14. Admitted students must visit their respective institutions from July 15 to 19 to verify documents. The second round of admissions will begin on July 15.
