Pune Advances Climate Action With Climate Accelerator Dashboard Launch
Pune has taken a significant step towards its Net Zero goals with a recent workshop focused on climate action. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has established the Pune Climate Action Cell to accelerate sustainability initiatives.
In collaboration with the British Deputy High Commission in Mumbai and TERI as the knowledge partner, PMC has introduced the Pune Climate Accelerator Dashboard to support these efforts.
This initiative falls under the UK Government’s Climate Diplomacy Fund (CDF), which aims to raise awareness about Net Zero and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) targets at the city level.
The workshop concluded with the launch of the Climate Accelerator Dashboard in a wireframe format, showcasing Pune’s commitment to integrating technology into its climate strategy.
Designed to track progress, enhance data transparency, and engage citizens, this dashboard is expected to be a vital tool in driving Pune’s sustainable development.
