Pune Airport : Air Asia Manager Faces Negligence Charges Following Tragic Loss of Life
A security guard with the airline Air Asia lost his life after falling while deboarding the plane from its rear gate at Pune airport on April 14, 2023. The airline launched an investigation which concluded recently. A complaint was filed yesterday at the Vimantal Police station against the manager of the company for negligence. The airline staffer Vivin Anthony Dominic, a resident of Lohegaon lost his life in the incident.
Vilas Sonde, Senior Inspector Vimantal Police Station told that the incident took place two months ago but the case was registered last night. The incident took place at 6.20 AM while Pune Delhi Flight I5 767 was preparing for its departure from Pune airport. Case of causing death is registered against the assistant manager of Air Asia Company at Vimantal Police Station.
