Pune Airport Introduces Green Channel To Cut Customs Exit Time for International Passengers
Pune, December 5, 2025: Pune Airport reports a steady return to normalcy for the period from 0000 hrs to 1700 hrs on 5 December 2025, with all airport functions operating without interruption and flight disruptions now confined solely to IndiGo. All other airlines adhered fully to their planned schedules.
A total of 31 arrival flights and 31 departure flights were handled during the period, facilitating 5,122 arriving passengers and 4,805 departing passengers.
Scheduled operations were completed as planned by Air India (4/4), SpiceJet (3/3), AIX (9/9), Akasa Air (4/4), Star Air (2/2), and Fly91 (2/2). IndiGo operated 7 arrivals and 7 departures; however, it reported 21 arrival and 21 departure cancellations. No other carrier reported any disruption.
Airport teams, Airlines, ground handling agencies, security personnel, and terminal management remained fully deployed to ensure seamless passenger movement, maintain safety, and support timely aircraft turnaround. Apron utilisation was continuously supervised to optimise stand allocation and prevent any cascading operational impact.
Pune Airport continues to coordinate closely with all stakeholders to maintain service standards and support IndiGo in stabilising its schedule, ensuring that overall airport operations proceed smoothly as normalcy is progressively restored.
