Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad to get more Electric vehicle charging stations : MSEDCL

The increasing use of Electric  vehicles has compelled Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to set up more electric charging stations in the city. MSEDCL recently inaugurated a Electric vehicle charging station at its office on Senapati Bapat Road in Pune. 

“Presently, Pune circle has 15 such charging stations while in the near future more such stations will be set up in the city as well as on adjoining highways, informed Prasad Reshme, MSEDCL Director (projects). 

Also present for the inauguration were Ankush Nale, Pune Regional Director (projects), Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar, Pune circle. 

Electric vehicle users can use power app which has information about the stations, charging time required, consumed electricity units, payment wallet and balance. 

In Pune circle, 15 stations have been set up in various areas such as Sanghavu Nagar in Aundh, Regency Infra, Nanaware vasti, Aundh, Ganeshkhind Road, MSEDCL office, Amar Paradigm in Baner, Benchmark sub division office in Punawale, Mumbai Pune highway, Pradhikaran Switching Station (Punawale, Mumbai – Pune highway), CIRT sub division (Kasarwadi, Pune – Nashik Highway), Kunal Icon switching station (Pimple Saudagar), Sector 10 Switching station (bhosari), CDC Switching station (Spine road, Shahu Nagar), Bramha Suncity (Wadgaon Sheri), Zensar Switching station (Kharadi), Kirti Castle Switching station (Vadgaon Shinde, Lohegaon), Race Course sub division (Race Course, Bhairoba Nala, Wanowrie), Rajguru Nagar (Kadus phata, Chandoli, Khed taluka.)
