Anupam Kher was invited to the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, which is a premier tri-services academy, last week to deliver a motivational lecture to the cadets. He posted a video and posted on X about the visit, describing it as a life changing experience.
On the video about the visit posted on X, he wrote a note saying, “It was my honour and my privilege to be invited by the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune to deliver a motivational lecture to more than 2500 cadets. I felt so proud to see the place. Undoubtedly one of the finest in the world. The training, the facilities, the coaching, the discipline and the dedication is so exemplary and outstanding! I stayed there for a day and learnt so many things about life and living! Thank you, Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, Maj Gen Sanjeev Dogra, all the officers, staff and the cadets for the love, hospitality and appreciation! Jai Hind!”
In the video the veteran actor says, “It was my privilege that I was invited here to deliver a motivational lecture….This was a life changing experience for me. I want to not just admire but also salute the way these cadets train with grit and determination and go on to become the brave hearts for the country. I received a lot of love here.”
Towards the end of this month, the NDA is set to hold the Passing Out Parade for its 146th course on 24th May. General Manoj Pande, the Chief of Army Staff, will preside over the ceremony as the Reviewing Officer.
