The Wanowrie police are looking into a complaint made by an army officer against a movers and packers company in Chikhali. The officer alleges that the company’s staff breached trust by failing to compensate him for damages to his car.

The army officer, aged 35 and residing on NIBM Road, originally from Kerala, had sold his car and needed it transported to Kerala. He hired the company’s services for this task in November last year. Instead of using a container truck for transportation, a company driver drove the car to Kerala.

Unfortunately, the car was involved in an accident in Murudeshwar, Karnataka, on November 8 last year. Senior Inspector Sanjay Patange from the Wanowrie police reported that a case of rash and negligent driving was filed at the Manki police station in Karnataka. The company officials agreed to pay Rs. 400,000 in compensation to the army officer. However, despite over three months passing since the incident, compensation has not been provided.

The Wanowrie police are now investigating the matter further to ensure justice is served in this case of alleged breach of trust and failure to compensate for damages.
