Pune Book Festival To Be Held Between December 14 To 22
The second edition of the Pune Book Festival is set to take place from December 14 to 22 at Fergusson College grounds, organizers announced on Wednesday. The event is a collaborative effort by the National Book Trust (NBT), Deccan Education Society, and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), according to NBT President Milind Marathe.
NBT trustee Rajesh Pande shared that the festival aims to exceed last year’s turnout of over 500,000 readers, promising a larger and more engaging event this year. For the first time, the Pune Literature Festival will be incorporated, bringing together notable literary figures and intellectuals from across India to discuss literature and cultural topics.
Alongside book exhibitions and literary discussions, the festival will offer a range of cultural activities, including traditional dance performances and food stalls, providing attendees with a holistic cultural experience. “We invite all Punekars to join us in celebrating literature, cultural exchange, and Indian traditions at this year’s festival,” said Pande.
