A 44-year-old textile businessman named Ramzan Ali Sache took his own life by hanging in Bhawani Peth after falling victim to financial fraud by people he knew. They had promised him substantial returns on his investment, which led Sache to invest and even take out a bank loan. Unfortunately, they reportedly cheated him out of ₹50 lakhs.

Seven people have been charged in this case at the Khadak Police Station: Sunil Bele, Afser Sheikh, Mateen Sheikh, Haider Sheikh, Asif, Mujammil Patwekar, and Sanjeev Bajarmath. According to police reports, Sache owned a clothing business, and his wife was a teacher.

The accused, who were acquaintances of Sache, enticed him with their promises of high returns, which motivated him to invest. After facing financial troubles, Sache requested his money back, but the accused refused to return it. The harassment he experienced from them ultimately drove him to take his own life, as detailed in the complaint lodged by his wife.
