Pune : CBI raids revenue dept official in bribery case

Pune: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a raid on a top-ranking official in the Pune Revenue Department on Friday for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 8 Lakhs.Â
As per information, the official has been identified as Anil Ramode, Additional Commissioner in the revenue department. The CBI caught him red-handed while taking the bribe in connection with a land deal. According to preliminary information, this entire incident revolves around a piece of land with high market value. Ramode was apprehended by the CBI while accepting a bribe of Rs 8 lakhs. The CBI had reportedly set up a trap in this regard.Â
