On 7th August, a child, who got lost on the Ideal Colony Metro Station from his parents, was reunited in some time by Pune Metro officials.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Dr Hemant Sonawane, Executive Director Public Relations And Administration, Pune Metro, said “In the morning time, this incident of a child getting lost from his parents, happened on the Ideal Colony Metro Station. Now, he is reunited safe & sound with his parents.”

As per information from Sonawane, during a metro ride, Pune Metro Rail immediately reunited a misplaced toddler with his parents in a touching scenario. The youngster, who was travelling with his parents, became disoriented at Ideal Colony Metro Station’s Platform No. 1. The distraught parents immediately notified the station control room.

In barely 20 minutes, the Pune Metro Rail’s centralised control centre located the boy and handed him over to his parents. The family and other travellers who observed the incident complimented the quick action.

This incident has not only emphasised the efficiency and reactivity of Pune Metro Rail’s services, but it has also demonstrated their degree of care and concern for their passengers, particularly the young. It serves as a model for other metro services across the country to follow.
