Pune Collector And Municipal Commissioner Conduct Early Morning Inspection Of City To Address Civic Issues
Pune, July 5: In a bid to address the pressing civic issues in Pune, Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, along with District Collector Jitendra Dudi and heads of various departments, carried out an early morning inspection of key areas in the city on Saturday.
The inspection began at 6 AM and covered prominent locations such as Camp (PMC limits), Pune Station, Kasba Peth, Shaniwar Wada, University, Aundh, Balewadi, Baner, Pashan, and Deccan.
The team assessed the condition of roads, footpaths, and drainage systems, while also taking stock of roadside garbage, unauthorized hoardings and banners, unnecessary electric poles, and waterlogging-prone spots. Officials reviewed measures to prevent littering and ensure improved public amenities for citizens.

Commissioner Ram instructed civic officials to maintain cleanliness across the city and provide better infrastructure to residents. He also announced plans for regular inspections and meetings to strengthen coordination between civic departments and promote citizen participation in keeping Pune clean.
Senior officials, including department heads and deputy commissioners, were present during the inspection.
