Pune comes up with India’s first smart food court

In the recent ages, especially during the times of the pandemic, we as people have realized the importance of digital technology and AI. Several food apps took a firm ground online to avoid human interaction at eateries. 
Taking a step forward at digitalization, India sets up its first smart food court in the city of Pune. The city offers a variety of cuisines and has many established restaurants and bars. The smart food court is located in Law college road, Erandwane in Pune. 

The food court occupies a vast area of 3,000 sq. ft. and will host a variety of 15 different food brands. Some of them include Oven Story Pizza, Faasos, Wendy’s, Mad Over Donut, Behrouz Biryani, Slay Coffee, SMOOR Chocolates and Firangi Bake.

The customers have a complete digital experience where they will place an order on iPads or by scanning QR codes placed at every table. The preparation of ordered food will also be notified to the customer through a digital screen or through a WhatsApp text. The customer has the option of dine in or take away.
