Pune : CPCB directs MPCB to take action against garbage burning incidents near Kalyani Nagar
Garbage burning incidents are on the rise & have become very common in several areas of Pune. One such garbage burning incident has been noticed in the Kalyani Nagar area where garbage is set on fire. The local citizens from the area have been constantly taking interest in dousing the fire by constantly seeking help from the Fire Brigade, but the root cause of the problem remains unanswered.
Pune Pulse had highlighted the plea of the local residents seeking resolution to their daily problems regarding air pollution caused by garbage burning.
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has instructed the MPCB to take action “MPCB, please take action against the complaint received at CPCB and update action taken with reference to this complaint.”
