Pune: Dangerous Divider Near Vaibhav Talkies In Hadapsar Fixed by Citizens, As Authorities Failed To Act Promptly
For several days, the divider panel on the road near Vaibhav Talkies in Hadapsar was dangerously sticking out after a vehicle collided with it while climbing the flyover. The stones of the divider were also scattered, leading to accidents every night. Despite several public representatives crossing the bridge daily, no one seemed to notice or address the issue. Is there no responsibility towards the citizens’ safety?, questioned the residents.
“Our sincere wish is to keep our citizens safe. Therefore, all of us friends came together and took to the streets to resolve this issue. We contacted Balasaheb Dhawale Patil, Assistant Commissioner from the Pune Municipal Corporation Hadapsar Ward office, who promptly arranged a JCB, for which we are thankful to him and the driver. We also extend our thanks to our friends Shailesh Navale, Prakash Pandit, Dnyaneshwar Raut, Bapu Wadkar, Lakhan Kale, and Akash Dada, who helped in this effort.
