PUNE: To ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic, the Deccan Traffic Department of Pune City prohibited parking on both sides from DP on the north side of 1228/B, Green Atte, Apte Road, Pune that is from DP Box to Venus Lane.

As per the information provided, citizens having suggestions or objections regarding this temporary traffic order, are requested to communicate them in writing to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune by September 13.

The Deputy Commissioner of Traffic, Vijay Kumar Magar, has stated that after considering the feedback received from citizens and excluding vehicles in essential services, final orders will be issued regarding the traffic changes. The Department of Transport will be undertaking the construction of a metro and integrated two-storey flyover at Savitribai Phule Pune University Chowk under the Chattushringi traffic department, as well as the construction of pillars in the middle of the road at Abil House (Rangehills Corner).

As a result, it is necessary to temporarily close the puncture of the road at Rangehills Corner. To minimize inconvenience to motorists, traffic in the Rangehills Corner area has been changed on a pilot basis from August 29 until further notice. Accordingly, drivers are prohibited from turning right from Abil House (Rangehills Corner) when coming from Shivajinagar and going to Rangehills. They are also prohibited from coming from Shivajinagar to Rangehills and must take an alternate route to make a U-turn between metro pillar no. 20 and 21 and turn left from Rangehills Corner. Magar has requested that citizens take note of these traffic changes made on a pilot basis and cooperate accordingly.
