Pune : Deputy Registrar issues show-cause notice to private company based in Pune for alleged illegalities

The Deputy Registrar of Co-Operative Society, Pune, issued a show-cause notice to a private company.

As per further information from the show-cause notice, a resident of private company had filed a complaint in the office of Registrar of Co-Operative Society, Pune.  In the said application, it is mentioned that the organization has not submitted the audit report to the PMC for the last three years. In the application, it is said that the company didn’t record any accounts of the apartment, also the said organization has not had an election as per the law, no annual meeting etc.

The notice is issued to the Secretary and Chairman of the Condominium, wherein they are asked to furnish the details.

The applicant and respondent should attend the said hearing with all necessary documents. It should be noted that if you are absent from the said hearing, it will be assumed that you have nothing to say and an appropriate action will be taken.

Ex member of the Condominium, said “The private company’s office is illegal. An executive lounge has been built where liquor is served too. That area is not even of the company, it’s a common area. There are no legal approvals of the committee for it, no documents etc. Also, in the last 3 years, there has been no Annual General Meeting (AGM), no quarterly meeting, no audit report is given & much more. Hence, the show-cause notice has been issued.”
