Pune District Collector Urges Graduate and Teacher Voters to Register by November 6

Pune, November 3: District Collector Jitendra Dudi has appealed to graduates and teachers from recognized secondary and higher secondary schools in the district to complete their voter registration by November 6.

During a video conference today, Collector Dudi reviewed the progress of voter registration for graduates and teachers. The meeting was attended by Deputy District Election Officer Meenal Kalskar, along with all sub-divisional officers and tehsildars of the district.

He instructed that no government officer or employee should remain unregistered** as a graduate voter. The Collector directed that the registration campaign be conducted in mission mode at the taluka level, ensuring full participation. Sub-divisional officers have been asked to immediately hold meetings with local officials to complete all pending registrations.

Dudi also emphasized the importance of seeking cooperation from **political parties, colleges, and educational institutions** for the registration drive and directed that teachers should also be registered as graduate voters wherever applicable.

Further, he instructed that principals and headmasters of recognized secondary and higher secondary schools should organize meetings to ensure that no teacher is left out of the registration process.
