Pune Ditsrict Covid19 vaccination drive begins today
The Covid19 vaccination in Pune district began today in presence of Pune district Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh in Aundh Civil Hospital.
District Covid19 vaccination drive’s first vaccine was given to Vaishali Kardile received in presence of deputy director health department, Dr Sanjay Deshmukh, Dr Ashok Nandapurkar, district health officer Dr Bhagwan Pawar, Dr Varsha Doiphode, Vaccination Drive Coordinator Dr Nitin Bilolikar, Covid19 chief physician Dr Kiran Khalate, Dr Varsha Jadhavar.
“31 vaccination centers are assigned to give Covid vaccine, where 100 registered people shall be given vaccines. A total of 3100 people shall be vaccinated today at 31 centers,” said Dr Rajesh Deshmukh.
In the first phase, health workers shall be administered the Covid19 vaccine.
