Pune : Duo rob Hotel Karachi in Pimpri : decamp with valuables and cash

Pune: Two people damaged and looted Hotel Karachi in Pimpri and stole valuables, and cash on June 29, around 10:30 pm.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vasant Bendarkar, Constable, Pimpri Police Station said, “On the night of June 29, two unidentified people came near Hotel Karachi in Pimpri when it was closed. They wanted to loot the hotel. They managed to open the shutter of the hotel with the support of a tool and robbed some cash and 3 mobile phones, of which the total goes to Rs 6,600, & fled away.”

As per the information, the complainant, Vishal Peshuram Baktyarpuri, owner of the hotel and resident of Sayali Park Society, Rahatani, immediately complained to Pimpri Police Station. The Pimpri Police has registered a case under sections 454, 457 & 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the two unidentified persons. As of now, the accused are absconding, however, a rigorous investigation is going on & soon the culprits will be nabbed.
