Pune: Dynamic Grandeur C Wing Society From Undri Adopts 30 kW Solar System, Saves ₹55K Monthly
Pune, August 6, 2025: In a move towards environmental sustainability, the residents of Dynamic Grandeur C Wing have installed a 30 kW solar rooftop system, setting a shining example for housing societies across the city.
Spearheaded by Secretary Chetan Chavan along with key members Yazdani Shaikh and Sanjay Todkar, the project was executed with a total expenditure of ₹19 lakh. A government subsidy of ₹5.4 lakh helped ease the financial burden, making the initiative more feasible.
Home to 100 flats, the society is now expected to save approximately ₹55,000 per month on electricity bills. These savings not only provide financial relief to residents but also contribute significantly to reducing the building’s carbon footprint.
The rooftop solar installation reflects the society’s strong commitment to adopting renewable energy solutions. “This is a long-term investment into our environment and our future,” said Chavan, highlighting how the initiative will benefit both current and future generations.
The project is being hailed as a model for other residential complexes aiming to transition to cleaner energy.
