Pune: Elderly Woman Rescued After Being Locked Inside Home In Wanwadi; Fire Brigade Responds Swiftly
Pune, April 24, 2026: An approximately 80-year-old elderly woman who was reportedly unwell was rescued after being found locked inside her residence at Sacred Heart Town near Jagtap Chowk in Wanawadi.
Upon receiving information, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and successfully opened the locked door. The team ensured that the woman was safe and out of danger.
The rescue operation was carried out under the supervision of Officer Kailas Shinde, along with team members Mahadev Mangde (Tandel), Firemen Santosh Mane, Harshad Yewale, Harshvardhan Khade, and Driver Swapnil Kamathe. The team’s timely response helped avert a potential emergency situation.
