Pune: The cold in Pune city is increasing as the minimum temperature continues to decrease gradually. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted mostly clear weather with a chance of morning fog in the city and its surrounding areas.
Over the past few days, the usual minimum temperature of approximately 20 degree Celsius has been decreasing, resulting in a noticeable decrease in warmth. Furthermore, the rainfall on November 10 provided some relief from the ongoing heat.
As per the information provided, on Sunday, November 12, the city experienced a low temperature of 17.7 degree Celsius and a high temperature of 31.8 degree Celsius.
The current rise in the minimum temperature, which has now exceeded the average by three degree, is expected to reverse as a slight cooling is anticipated.
As per the information received, showers were observed across the state due to favourable rainfall conditions. The current cloudy and rainy weather is anticipated to subside, leading to predominantly dry conditions. However, the minimum temperature in the North Maharashtra region may decrease further.
On Sunday, November 12, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 16.2 degree Celsius.
