Pune : Flyover in Mundhwa Over Pune – Solapur Railway Line To Be Completed Soon

PUNE: Approximately 80% of the work on the flyover at Mundhwa on the Pune-Solapur railway line has been completed. The decision to complete the project within a year was made during a meeting between the civic body and the railway administration.

As per the information provided, upon completion, the flyover will alleviate the inconvenience experienced by residents of Mundhwa, Ghorpadi, and Kalyaninagar. Despite the project’s initiation three years ago, progress was hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic. MLA Sunil Kamble convened a joint meeting with municipal and railway officials, during which the officials inspected the work.

MLA Kamble tweeted, ‘The project is expected to be completed within the next year. Upon completion, the time taken to reach east Pune areas such as Mundhwa, Keshavnagar, and Kharadi will be reduced, and traffic congestion will be alleviated.
