Residents of Mohammed Wadi in Pune have long grappled with pressing issues such as traffic congestion, inadequate water supply, and a lack of essential infrastructure. To address these concerns, former corporator Pramod Bhangire, also the chief of Shiv Sena Pune city, initiated a series of development projects aimed at improving the living conditions in the area.

The foundation stone was laid for various critical projects, including the construction of footpaths, road dividers, and widening of roads from Elina Living to Raheja Premier chowk. Bhangire emphasized the importance of bypass roads in alleviating congestion and the activation of overhead water tanks to resolve water supply issues. Members of NIBM Anandvan Parisar Residents Association (NAPRA) thanked Pramod Bhangire for the extensive work carried out in the area such as CCTV system, tree plantation, speed breakers and also police patrolling in the area.

This occasion saw presence of Anandvan Foundation members Vishal Pawar, Vicky Malhotra, Abhijit Borate, Amar Ghule, Abhimanyu Bhangire, Sachin Tarwade, Santosh Jadhav, Akshay Taru, Nitin Bokey, Prashant Kumar, Mitul Poojara, Vishwanath Bhange, Gorakh Ahire, G S Chandok, Bhupesh Sharma of Elina Living, Rajnesh Sharma, Kunal Sharma, Dhusija, Jitesh Jaisinghina, Jitesh Sharma, Pratap Kharat ,Raju Bindra, Asha Yadav of Elina Society, Kavita Shah, Maria R, Pathan, Pravin Suryavanshi, Rehana Shaikh, residents of  Gemini Park Society, Archana Paradise, Nadeem Inamdar, Praveen Kumar and citizens of Atlantis Society.

Atique Pathan, a resident of Gemini Park insisted on developing a garden in the area near Gemini Park, Ganga Florentina, Raheja Vista Phase 3 societies. 

With these initiatives underway, Mohammed Wadi is poised to undergo a transformation, with organized infrastructure and improved traffic management on the horizon.
