Pune: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Undergoes Angioplasty
Pune, March 20, 2026: Pramod Sawant underwent an angioplasty procedure at Ruby Hall Clinic on March 19 after experiencing chest pain.
He was admitted to the hospital for evaluation, following which doctors recommended immediate intervention. The procedure was carried out successfully without any complications, according to hospital authorities.
Dr. Purvez Grant, chairperson of the hospital, stated that the Chief Minister’s condition is stable and that he is recovering well. He remains under medical observation as a precaution.
Hospital officials indicated that the treatment went as planned, and there is no immediate cause for concern regarding his health.
