Pune : Green Valley Society In Wanowrie Concludes Grand Ganeshotsav Celebrations with Unity and Enthusiasm

The Green Valley society in Wanowrie, Pune recently concluded its grand Ganeshotsav celebrations with unparalleled fervor and enthusiasm. 

The festivities commenced with a spirited welcome of Lord Ganesha accompanied by traditional beats of dhol and tasha, setting the tone for an unforgettable event. The heart of the celebrations was the Sthapana Pooja, a sacred ritual that brought together residents in prayer and reflection. Twice-daily Aarti ceremonies witnessed an overwhelming turnout. 

In a bid to showcase the diverse talents within the community, a series of engaging programs were organised , catering to all age groups. From the captivating Talent Nite to the lively Dance Nite, participants ranged from toddlers to esteemed senior citizens. 

The society also witnessed Drawing Contests, Quiz Challenges, and an exhilarating Treasure Hunt. All participating children received tokens of appreciation, in line with Green Valley Cha Sukhkarta’s ethos of fostering unity over competition. Adding a dash of excitement, an evening was dedicated to a delightful fun fair, brimming with laughter and camaraderie. 

The ladies of the community indulged in the cherished Haldi Kumkum program, reveling in the time-honored customs of skits and songs. A highlight of the festivities was a spirited Lezim performance by a group of enthusiastic ladies on the visarjan day, leaving spectators in awe of their energy and devotion. As the festivities drew to a close, there was a palpable sense of gratitude and a touch of melancholy as the community bid farewell to their beloved Lord Ganesha.
