Pune : Heated argument turned into stabbing at party in Donje; Haveli Police arrests accused

Pune : The Haveli Police have arrested an individual for allegedly attacking a person with a knife at a party in a farmhouse in Paygude Wadi, Donje.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Sachin Wangade, Police Inspector, Haveli Police station said, “A party was thrown at a farmhouse in Paygude Wadi as a baby boy was born to a couple. The accused & the victim were friends with the couple. When the party was going on, an argument broke out between the accused & victim due to which the accused attacked the victim with a knife. The victim sustained severe injuries & was rushed immediately to Sassoon Hospital.”

As per information shared by Wangade, the condition of the victim is stable now. Also, the accused has been arrested by the police. A case has been registered at Haveli Police Station under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation into the matter is underway.
