Pune: IIM Nagpur To Open 70-Acre Satellite Campus In Moshi, Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pune, August 29, 2025: Pune: The Maharashtra government has announced the establishment of a satellite campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur on a 70-acre plot in Moshi, Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Land acquisition is currently underway, and development will be fast-tracked to make the campus operational within the next 24 to 30 months.
Pune’s strong industrial base and growing tech ecosystem makes it an ideal location for specialized executive programs.
There is need for lifelong learning in an era of technological disruption driven by AI, 3D printing, and cloud computing.
State Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said the initiative marks an “auspicious milestone” for Pimpri-Chinchwad during Ganesh Chaturthi, adding prestige to the city’s industrial and educational profile.
