Pune : IRCTC Unveils Exciting Tour Packages Under Bharat Gaurav Train, Dekho Apna Desh & Rail Tours
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd ( IRCTC ), the tourism division of Indian Railways, has launched a series of exciting tour packages under the Bharat Gaurav Train, Dekho Apna Desh, and Rail Tour Package offerings.
During a media interaction, Gururaj Sonna, Area Officer of IRCTC Pune, stated, “We have introduced new tour packages that are affordable and appealing to people from all walks of life. Our aim is to attract not only residents of major cities but also individuals in towns and villages who may not have had access to travel to their desired destinations. The overwhelming response to our previous three Bharat Gaurav Trains, one from Mumbai and two from Pune, has prompted us to expand to air travel as well. We are confident that people will enjoy the travel experiences and journeys offered by our air packages, just like the Bharat Gaurav Train.”
The event was attended by prominent figures such as Gururaj Sonna, Area Officer of IRCTC Pune, Alok Singh Parmar and Shweta Singh, Executives of IRCTC Tourism in Pune and Mumbai respectively, and Madanlal Meena, Pune Railway Station Director.
Bharat Gaurav Train: IRCTC has initiated the ‘Rampath Yatra’ tour package, covering Pune to Ayodhya, Nandigram, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Jabalpur, and back. This 7-night and 8-day tour will visit five divine destinations from July 13 to July 20, 2023. The Bharat Gaurav Train comprises one 2AC coach, three 3AC coaches, seven Sleeper class coaches, two Power cars, and one high-capacity Pantry car equipped with a modern, flameless cooking facility. The train is designed to enhance the travel experience, featuring an all-over Passenger Announcement system, in-house security, and CCTV cameras.
Dekho Apna Desh: IRCTC West Zone is offering economical domestic air packages under the Dekho Apna Desh brand. These packages cover a wide range of tourist destinations. The newly launched tours include Blissful Tirupati (Every Saturday), Exotic Ladakh (Departures on August 1, August 18, and September 1, 2023), Enthralling Odisha (Departure on August 13, 2023), Wondrous Andaman (Departure on September 5, 2023), Kashmir Heaven on Earth (Departures on September 23, September 30, and October 2, 2023), Sharawan Special South India Tour (Departure on September 10, 2023), and Vibrant Saurashtra (Departures on November 16, December 22, 2023, and January 26, 2024), among others. These packages are well-designed, cost-effective, and all-inclusive, covering return air tickets, transfers, sightseeing, meals, accommodation, tour guides, travel insurance, and GST.
Rail Tour Package (Departure from Mumbai): The Rail Tour Package includes Kevadia Tour (Every Friday), Kevadia & Heritage Ahmedabad (Every Wednesday), Kevadia with Ahmedabad & Ambaji Darshan (Every Wednesday), Kevadia with Ahmedabad (Every Friday), and Tirupati Balaji Darshan (Every Day), among other options.
