A PMPML bus was reported stolen from the Sarasbaug area during the Palkhi ceremony due to a lack of parking space. The theft was discovered when it was found that a battery worth Rs 5000 had been stolen from the bus. The incident was reported to the Swargate police station, and a case has been registered against the thief.

The bus, which usually operates from Swargate Agar to Poolgate station, had to be parked at the Sanas Maidan area near Sarasbaug due to the unavailability of parking space. The bus driver accidentally left the key inside the bus, providing an opportunity for the thief to steal it during the night.

The stolen bus was later found near the Market Yard depot area, but it was observed that the thieves had also broken the windows of two other buses in the vicinity. The PMPML security officers filed a complaint, leading to a thorough investigation by the police.

PMPML authorities are working closely with the police to resolve the matter and ensure the safety and security of their buses.
