Pune: Jewellery Worth ₹7.5 Lakh Stolen in Daylight Burglary at Amanora Park Town Apartment
Pune, June 14: A daylight burglary was reported at a residential apartment in Amanora Park Town, Hadapsar, where unidentified thieves allegedly broke into a flat and stole gold and silver ornaments worth approximately ₹7.5 lakh.
According to police, the incident took place between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on June 11 in a flat located in Tower No. 41 of Amanora Park Town. A 39-year-old woman residing in the apartment lodged a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station, following which a case was registered against unknown persons.
Police said the complainant had stepped out for work when the burglars allegedly entered the apartment, broke open the locker inside a cupboard in the master bedroom, and escaped with the jewellery.
Senior Police Inspector Vishwajeet Kaingade and Police Inspector Nilesh Jagdale visited the spot to assess the situation. Police Sub-Inspector Ratnadeep Birajdar is leading the investigation into the theft.
Authorities are reviewing evidence and investigating the circumstances surrounding the burglary. Further inquiry is underway.
