Pune: Job Fair For Army, Navy And Air Force Veterans On March 13
Pune, March 10, 2026: The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, will organise a special job fair for ex-servicemen in Pune on March 13, 2026, aimed at helping veterans transition into civilian employment.
The job fair will provide a dedicated platform for former personnel of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force to connect with leading employers from various sectors. Recruiters from industries such as security, information technology, administration, logistics, healthcare and engineering are expected to participate.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s continued commitment to the resettlement and welfare of ex-servicemen, recognising the discipline, leadership and technical expertise they bring to the civilian workforce.
The DGR is organising 18 job fairs across India during the financial year 2025–26. So far, 15 events have already been conducted in cities including Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kolkata, Secunderabad, Jammu, Bhopal, Kochi, Guwahati, Dehradun and Bengaluru.
During the Pune job fair, ex-servicemen will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and interact directly with recruiters, while employers will gain access to a pool of trained, experienced and mission-ready professionals. Participating companies will also be able to review resumes in advance and conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates during the event.

The job fair will be held from 7:00 am onwards at the Bombay Engineer Group and Centre in Pune. Officials have encouraged ex-servicemen and employers to register and participate in the event.
